  • Optional metadata keys can be summarized for audit-safe logs

  • Veritrellis inbound remains workspace-scoped API key auth
  • Outbound auth modes per installation:
    • none
    • bearer
    • api_key_header

Audit guidance​

  • Avoid putting high-cardinality or sensitive freeform values in metadata
  • Prefer opaque IDs that resolve to records in your systems
